Simon’s large, light and airy studio with views of the sea, is 300 metres from the coast path a couple of miles west of Lamorna Cove. Contemporary landscape paintings that are inspired by this unique location which is battered by wind and sea, will be exhibited in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Paintings that vary in size from 20cm to 100cm are priced from £150 -£2,500.
These paintings reflect his passion for the landscape of Penwith and his belief in the importance of drawing. His strong colour palette and his layered graphic marks are made to engage the viewer in the painting’s richness of surface. His compositions are both thoughtful and intuitive.
