Sarah’s Art – Painting & Glass

Original paintings and cards in Ink & Glass. Inspired by Life and Death Cycles, the Seasons and Nature.
Including paintings by Mary Taylor

Two artist friends Sarah Trewhella and Mary Taylor sharing Mudgeon Vean Studio.

Sarah produces original framed and U/F paintings and cards, Glass and Mixed Media. She produces work derived from her interest in life and death cycles, the seasons and natural plant and animal forms. The beautiful environments of the Lizard and Helford River areas, inspire her work.

Mary’s paintings in Acrylics are a journey, evolving and developing gradually, allowing her an emotional response to art and the landscape. By abstracting elements of the landscape, through a process of deconstruction and reassembling, she retains the elements with a sense of harmony and energy.

There are several other Open Studios nearby if you are following the Open Studios Trail.

Gear Farm Pasties are en route from Mawgan then the beautiful National Trust walk to Tremayne Quay, which is situated just before Mudgeon Vean Studio, in An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are both worth a visit. Helford Village with waterside Public House -The Shipwright Arms and The prince of Wales at Newtown are also a short drive away.
