Jay Caskie

Printmaker specialising in wood engraving. Jay makes intricately detailed landscapes inspired by the rugged Canadian wilderness and the Cornish coast.

I’m a printmaker specialising in wood engraving and linocut prints. I make small scale intricately detailed prints inspired by the rugged Canadian landscapes where I grew up and the Cornish coast where I live now. I use imagery of solitary houses and figures to explore themes of home, isolation and our connection to nature.

Stop by for a chat and check out my new studio. I have a selection of framed and unframed prints and collages available to browse and purchase – plus you can see all the carving and printing tools I use to make my prints!
