Baz Mehew

Stone and bone carvings & assemblages.

I am a stonecarver working in a range of stone including serpentine and soapstone. I also make pieces in bone and assemblages in stone, bone and other materials or found objects. My subject matter is drawn from an interest in early indigenous art, particularly Inuit and Native American. Pieces between £50 and £500.

The workshop has appeal with many upcycled materials and some of the tools I make myself. I mostly use hand tools. Weather permitting I hope to show some of my work in the garden.

I offer stonecarving workshops. See website for details. With many years of experience I enjoy talking with people about making stonecarvings and art in general.

I look forward to meeting you.

Locate the police station and facing it take the road on the right which is Penalverne Place. Come through the second set of gates on the left marked number 6. The house is down the slope on the left.
The map used on this profile is powered by Google maps and the pin use postcodes rather than very specific locations, in some cases this may not be accurate and it is always worth checking the venue directions on the participants page.
